Neopets Game - Typing Terror

Typing Terror is one of the Neopet games which is based on ability, but getting a really high score is completely dependent on the random clockwork grundos which are released to you. The basic premise of the game is to type the words which are displayed on the attacking clockwork grundos' chest screens, and destroy enough of them to move on from levels one through five, and then finish of the uber-clockwork grundo. First things first, you need to be able to type, QUICKLY. That's a major factor in your ability to obtain high scores. Being able to type without looking at the keyboard will be a major plus. But, if nothing else, practice makes better.

The clockwork grundos which appear are as follows:

Yellow Clockwork Grundo: 5 points
Red Clockwork Grundo (upside down): 20 points
Red and Purple Sparking Clockwork Grundo: 100 points

The levels that you must complete are as follows:

Level 1 - 12 clockwork grundos (3 letter words)
Level 2 - 14 clockwork grundos (4 letter words)
Level 3 - 16 clockwork grundos (5 letter words)
Level 4 - 18 clockwork grundos (6 letter words)
Level 5 - 20 clockwork grundos (7 letter words)
Boss Level - 25 words, 8 letters a piece

The avatar is available once you hit 3600 points (which isn't as easy as it seems). Again, the unfortunate thing here is that your score is heavily dependent on which clockwork grundos are sent out to you (which is completely random). If possible, the only real strategic element would be to try and hit the red and sparking clockwork grundos first. If you can read what's on their chest screen, type their words first. Due to the fact that each level is limited, getting yellows which appear first may result in ending a level with a lower score because the number of clockwork grundos to destroy was already reached. Remember, lots of practice and a good dose of luck with help you get a high score, and hopefully an avatar!
